The owner of a barber shop in a Suffolk town has said that he has suffered over £10,000 worth of damage to his shop due to severe flooding.
Ahmet Dagdelen, the owner of Gentleman's Corner Barbershop in Framlingham's in Alberts Place, has had to close his shop since Friday while he cleans damage caused by Storm Babet.
On Friday, October 20, Framlingham, like many other places in Suffolk, was hit with the storm, which caused major floods around the county.
Roads in Framlingham became impassable, with the worst affected being Elms Car Park, right next to the mere, and Station Road, which has a river running adjacent to it.
Gentleman's Corner Barbershop, which is situated opposite the river, was one of the businesses heavily affected by the storm.
Mr Dagdelen said: "We have lost a lot of equipment.
"The flood caused over £10,000 worth of damage to equipment and to the shop, and because insurance companies don't want to insure for flooding, due to being so close to a river, it was not insured."
The barbershop closed on Friday and has remained closed.
It is not known when the shop will reopen, but Mr Dagdelen has said he is working hard to reopen as soon as possible.
Other businesses in Framlingham were affected, as the Railway Inn, in Station Road, fears it may not be able to reopen until the new year due to the flood affecting the pub and kitchen area.
Other businesses in the town, helped those that needed, with Curry India, who were affected by the flood, offered free food to customers who could not cook food at home due to the flood.
