A beloved gastro pub in the heart of Constable Country is entering a 'roaring' new era with its new accommodation offering.
The Lion in East Bergholt is adding five luxury B&B rooms to its offers in summer and will be the sole lodgings in the village.
Jonathan Peachey, Owner of The Lion, said: "We pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to excellence, and the addition of our brand new accommodation is a continuation of our dedication to this".

"Here at The Lion, we celebrate the art of food and décor, with culinary experts who have a great passion for showcasing the best local produce from around the surrounding area- and now we can share it with even more adventurers".
The announcement comes as the long-standing pub reveals its rebrand with a new look.
The brasserie and bar offers a range of dining experiences and guests staying there will be able to explore the village where painter John Constable was born and raised.
