A highly-anticipated café and Christmas shop are set to open on a popular Suffolk estate today after months of construction work.
Roots Café announced its opening in August at Blackthorpe Barns on the Rougham Estate, a wedding venue and popular Christmas wonderland.
Now, the wait is over for fans of both Christmas and coffee, as the site will open to customers today.
The cafe will be open from 8.30am and is dog-friendly, according to a post on social media.
"As much as possible, our tasty dishes and refreshments use locally-sourced ingredients and local suppliers," said the social media post.
"The eclectic decor reflects many aspects of Rougham Estate and its surroundings, with cosy nooks and comfortable surroundings.
"Please be patient with us when you visit; we are a brand new café with new staff and we’re still working out the best way of serving you."
Breakfast will be served from 8.30am to 11.30am, lunch from 12pm to 3pm and afternoon tea from 3pm to 4.30pm.
The Christmas shop will also be open today from 9.30am to 5pm.
