Dogs had a 'howl' of a time when they took part in a special Halloween event at a Suffolk hotel.

The Westleton Crown, near Southwold, which is owned by pub chain The Chestnut Group, welcomed 50 pets for a 'fur-raising' evening of activities, including dog tarot card reading, pet portraits and a 'trick for treats' competition with local dog trainer Annie-Mae Levy.

"The Chestnut Group have the same values as Denzel’s when it comes to four-legged visitors, so we are thrilled to have brought the UK’s first Haunted House for Dogs to one of their local venues, welcoming pooches from Suffolk and Norfolk.

“We were so pleased with the turnout and that local dogs enjoyed our Halloween range, as well as the spooky activities on offer throughout the evening.”
