Several Suffolk rivers are at risk of flooding after an alert was issued following the heavy rainfall.
The Environment issued an alert for the River Deben and the River Lark in Suffolk on Friday, which warned people to avoid using low-lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding.
Now the flood alert has been extended to cover the entirety of the River Deben, from Bawdsey to Melton.
The River Orwell is also at risk of flooding, from Felixstowe to Ipswich, and the River Stour, from Harwich to East Bergholt.
This comes after a yellow weather warning for rain was issued by the Met Office until midnight on Saturday, with spray and flooding "likely" to affect homes and roads.
The Environment Agency did not say for how long the alert would be in place.
