With the last of the high temperatures seemingly behind us, the weather has turned and become much colder.

1. Ruby's Kitchen
Opening Hours: Monday- Sunday from 8.30am to 4pm
If you're wanting a bit more than a coffee and a cake, then why not have a roast dinner?
Ruby's Kitchen overlooks Felixstowe beach and serves up a range of tasty treats, including a roast dinner on a Sunday.
It was recently named one of the best cafes in Suffolk.
2. Munchies
Where: 163 High Street, Aldeburgh, IP12 5AN
Opening Hours: Monday- Sunday from 7.30am to 3pm
Munchies is a friendly, relaxed cafe on Aldeburgh High Street.
Everyone, including dogs, is welcome here to enjoy breakfast baps all day or Suffolk sausage rolls.
All of their packaging and straws are sustainable and recyclable, and they have gluten-free options as well.
3. The Kitchen @ Thorpeness
Opening Hours: Monday-Sunday from 9am to 5pm
This eclectic cafe also has a modern one-bedroom apartment available to hire.
They aim to serve great food that is locally and responsibly sourced, with a clear focus on service.
The menu included brunch dishes such as American-style pancakes to fish finger baps with tartare sauce.
If you don't fancy a coffee, why not treat yourself to a cocktail? The drinks menu features alcoholic drinks like Aperol Sprize and locally brewed Adnams Ghostship.
4. Sizewell Tea
Where: Sizewell Gap, Leiston, IP16 4UH
Opening Hours: Wednesday- Sunday from 9am to 3.30pm
Sizewell Tea can be found on Sizewell beach.
Here you can enjoy locally sourced breakfast baps, homemade cakes, and even fish and chips.
One reviewer said Sizewell Tea is their "absolute favourite little spot for a relaxing snack after a swim in the sea".

5. Dingle Hill Tearooms
Where: Dingle Hill, Dunwich, Saxmundham, IP17 3DZ
Opening Hours: Monday- Sunday from 9am to 4pm
This family-run business makes its cakes, scones, quiches, and puddings daily.
On offer are cream teas, freshly prepared sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and salads.
Dogs are allowed on all the outdoor patios and the cafe is only a short walk away from Dunwich beach.
6. Cafe 51
Where: 51 High Street, Southwold, IP18 6DJ
Opening Hours: Monday- Saturday from 9.15am to 4pm
Also known as Bread + Butter @ No.51, this cafe can be found on Southwold High Street.
Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and cake.
One reviewer said: "It's a favourite haunt of a friend of mine who visits Southwold several times a year- we always go there so have done the gamut of lunch, tea and supper".

7. The Thatch Restaurant & Coffee House
Where: Kirkley Cliff, Lowestoft, NR33 0BY
Opening Hours: Monday- Sunday from 8am to 4pm
The Thatch gets its name from the thatched roof of the building.
It offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and ice cream.
There is a wide range of hot and cold drinks to satisfy everyone's wants including locally brewed ales and fair trade coffees.
