There are four hotels in Suffolk listed in one of the nation's most prestigious and trusted guides.

Hotels that receive AA Red Stars are among the very best that the UK offers, with the accolade only awarded to establishments with "excellent levels of quality and outstanding service throughout."

The hotels that hold the prestigious award are decided by a dedicated team of inspectors.

In the UK, there are only 152 establishments with three, four or five red stars, and on the list are four Suffolk hotels with four stars and one with three.
