The A14 was blocked near Needham Market following a multi-vehicle crash.
Suffolk police were called to a crash between a motorbike and another vehicle at junction 51 for Coddenham at 4.30pm.
All lanes between junction 51 and junction 52 were closed to assist an air ambulance.
The road has now reopened.
