With Christmas slowly creeping up on us and the nights starting to draw in, a plethora of festive events have been announced across Suffolk.
The Times has made the task of choosing what to book a little easier by rounding up the best illuminated light trails across the UK, with a Suffolk venue coming in at fourth place.
The Helmingham Hall Illuminated Garden Trail released its tickets in July which, while it may seem a little premature for the festive season, was for good reason.
As one of the best spots to see a light display in the UK, according to The Times, tickets sell out for the month-long event quickly.
The trail will launch on Thursday, November 16, and the event will run every day of the week until Sunday, December 17.
Sound and lighting displays will showcase the different areas of the trail and areas of the hall's facade will also feature, including the moat.
This year the event will feature festive food and drink vendors, including pop-up pub The Stag Tavern, a variety of street food options, and s'mores around a fire pit.
The on-site Wrights Café will also be open for refreshments during the evenings.
Tickets are available to purchase via the Helmingham Hall website.
