A man who was found with £800 worth of drugs when he was arrested in Lowestoft has been jailed for 69 months.
Ryan Latham, who has 97 previous criminal convictions, was stopped by police in Yarmouth Road in February 2021.
When he was searched, he was found to have 17g of cannabis and 4g cocaine worth £800 hidden between his buttocks, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
When his phone was examined, it was found to contain advertising messages and messages from customers requesting drugs, said Benedict Peers, prosecuting.
Latham was stopped by police again on July 6, 2021 and when his phone was examined it was found to contain more messages relating to drug dealing, said Mr Peers.
Latham, 32, of no fixed address, admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs between January 16 and February 15 and February 24 and July 6 in 2021, possessing ketamine and possessing two mobile phones in prison.
Mr Peers said Latham was found in possession of two mobile phones while he was in Norwich prison in 2022.
Laura Kenyon, for Latham, said he’d been involved in the supply of drugs to fund his own drug use at times when he was under stress.
She accepted that messages found on his phones related to substantial amounts of drugs and money.
