A south Suffolk café owner says she is "thrilled" after being named in the top 10 per cent of cafés worldwide.
Oranges & Lemons in Rectory Hill, East Bergholt, was recently handed a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award for 2023.
The owners of the family run eatery, Sharon and Pete Williets, purchased the property in 2021 after the previous owners put it up for sale.
"We are thrilled," said Mrs Williets.
"It's really nice that people take the time to leave a review. The family bought the café in January last year so we have just been building on that reputation.
"The gift shop has expanded. We have put more tables in and just tried to build on the success of the previous owners."
The family has lived in the village for 30 years, and Mrs Williets believes they have been "supported by the village as a whole".

Owning a café has always been something that Mrs Williets and her family wanted to do, so they took plunge last year and bought the former King's Head pub.
They now have a core of staff that work at the site, as well as a "fabulous chef".
"People come for something nice," Mrs Williets added when asked about the menus, which also includes fish and chips, breaded whitebait and an all day breakfast.
"We have a bit of everything. It is all home cooked. All the cakes are made here."
"We are supported by the village as a whole and we have lots of people that travel to us."
"With the economic crisis that there is at the moment, we are just very pleased that people want to spend their time with us."
