"It certainly makes work a lot more fun," said the team from an Ipswich law firm that conquers not only courtrooms but also social media, with millions of views on TikTok.

Attwells Solicitors became popular on TikTok thanks to their head of social media, Elizabeth Hendry.

The law firm went viral nine times in one year, gaining 5,020 followers and 1.1 million total likes.

Their top-performing video received 10.9 million views and 845,000 likes.

Ms Hendry said: “I started the account to try to recruit potential new employees and reach people from all socio-economic backgrounds.

“This has led to a surge in job applications and an increase in apprenticeship interest.

“The TikToks have also improved internal relations between staff members and made the firm a happier place to work.

Nick Attwell said: "I have a 19 and 20-year-old who are both impressed and thoroughly embarrassed by their dad being on TikTok.

"I was recognised by a young apprentice who came up to me at a networking event and said, ‘are you Nick from TikTok?’ and he said I’d like to come and work for you and do TikToks.

"And that apprentice is now working for us at the firm a year on and just made his first TikTok recently.

"It’s been a such successful part of our recruitment strategy and I think it demonstrates the fun that we have at work which I’m very keen to support and encourage."

Stephen Attwell added: "I didn’t feel famous at first but then on quite a few occasions I’ve had people come up to me to ask me if I’m on TikTok.

"I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to resurrect my previous amateur acting career as I used to do a bit of a dram back in the day. I really enjoy working with my director and agent Libby.
