Suffolk is full of many cafés that serve as a great place for a meet up with friends for a smooth coffee and delicious cake.

1. Oranges and Lemons, East Bergholt
The first name on the list is Oranges and Lemons in East Bergholt.
Open between Tuesday and Saturday, the café has several different menus, serving everything from fish and chips to a range of paninis.

First opened in 2020, the small café has become regarded as one of the best in the coastal town.
Run by James Scott, the Pinkney's Lane eatery extends beyond your traditonal café offering and uses locally sourced ingredients.

3. Long Melford Tea Room
Long Melford has always been popular for its cafés, and the Long Melford Tea Room has always attracted regular visitors.
Known for its iconic red sign and red door, the eatery has a more traditional menu that proves popular among customers.

4. Ruby's Kitchen, Felixstowe
A roast in a café, what more could you want?
Ruby's Kitchen in Bent Hill, Felixstowe, has become recognised for its fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff, alongside its range of food options.

5. Lavenham Blue Vintage Tea Rooms, Lavenham
Located in the historic tourist of Lavenham, the Lavenham Blue Vintage Tea Rooms is the perfect place to stop off at after a visit to the village.
The café has a menu featuring number of different sandwiches and toasties, although it is perhaps best known for its traditional afternoon tea.
