A second festival in a Suffolk town has been cancelled - this time due to personal reasons.
The Sax Music Beer Fest was due to be held at Market Hall in Saxmundham from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22 and was set to feature 20 real ales and live music over the course of the three day event.
However, a post on a Saxmundham community Facebook page revealed the event was off - following on from the cancellation of the popular Sax Community Fest this year, which is run by the same organisers as the beer festival.

A spokesperson for the beer fest said: "The beer fest has been cancelled due to personal reasons not related to Sax music fest, which we are unable to disclose."
In April, the EADT revealed that the community festival would not be going ahead because funding streams had 'dried up'.
The event, which started in the east Suffolk town in 2014, offers a range of tribute acts, entertainment and activities for locals and had only just returned in 2022 following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Explaining the decision to cancel the community fest, director Terry Barrow said: "I have to report that, despite strenuous efforts, we have failed to get sufficient funding to produce a festival for this year.
"In this current sorry economic climate, funding - that we usually have been able to successfully bid for - has gone to other more urgent economic causes.
"Our funding streams have certainly dried up this year and our local grants have been cut back."

The 2022 showcase was secured thanks to a £6,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, but this year funding had gone to 'other more urgent economic causes'.
An online survey has been taking place asking the public whether the Sax Community Fest should return in 2024 and the survey was due to end this month.
