An ice rink that can fit up to 25 people will be coming to Bury St Edmunds town centre this year free of charge as part of the town's Christmas experience.
Between December 14 and January 3 the synthetic ice skating rink will be taking centre stage on Charter Square and will be open no matter the weather.
Our Bury St Edmunds BID, the Arc shopping centre and Bury St Edmunds Town Council have linked up to bring the ice skating rink to the town free of charge.
It will be part of the Christmas In Bury St Edmunds Experience with events beginning from mid-November and throughout December.
The synthetic ice rink will be provided by Odin Events and gives users the closest experience to the real thing.
The ice rink caters for everyone with a number of skate-aids available for first timers.
The rink will be closed on Christmas Day.
More information and full opening hours can be found on the Our Bury St Edmunds website.
