A son has joined his mum in her new business which helps people with hearing loss.
Award-winning audiologist Karen Finch sold her previous highly successful hearing business after 20 years. She went on to launch All About Hearing in Ipswich in December last year.
She has now been joined by her eldest son, Matthew Coward, who has become a director in the business.
Matthew has spent the last 20 years working in customer service, marketing and operations.
"I’ve always wanted to run my own business," he said.
"And I couldn’t think of a better person to do it with than my mother. Together we are so passionate about helping people with hearing loss. This is a truly family-run business, and we are going to ensure that our patients feel part of that family.”
The company operates from two locations in Ipswich - Gilmour Piper and Two Rivers Medical Centre - and includes Karen's husband Melvyn Howe.
It specialises in a range of services including comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and ear wax removal, as well as support and counselling for those suffering from tinnitus.
Karen said: “We are both super excited to run this new business together and to use our expertise to help people with hearing loss live better lives."
