An inquest has opened into the death of Erin Tillsley, who died in Great Cornard, aged 14.
The court heard that Miss Tillsley's body was discovered by her father at their home in Maldon Court, in the village near Sudbury, on Friday, July 14.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the property at about 10.35am, and they commenced CPR upon finding Miss Tillsley.
However, despite their best efforts, Miss Tillsley was declared dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Suffolk police later confirmed that officers had discovered the body of a female at the property upon arrival, and said that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
On Friday, an inquest at Suffolk Coroners' Court in Ipswich into Miss Tillsley's death was opened and adjourned in order for further work to be carried out.
A case review is set to be carried out on October 2, and a full inquest will commence on November 13, the court was told.
