Traffic is being delayed after the driver of the vehicle pulled their car across the road to stop vehicles from passing too close to the cyclist, who is currently sitting in the middle of the street.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said that the cyclist appeared to have potentially sustained some broken bones in the incident.
An ambulance is on its way.
