A barn on the Suffolk coast that has been converted into two luxury holiday homes has come onto the market.

Whitehouse Barns in Bulcamp Drift are situated on the River Blyth, just a short distance from one of Suffolk's most-popular seaside destinations: Southwold.

The property is on the market with Clarke & Simpson, based in Framlingham, which has just dropped the price to £1million.

Located more than 500 metres along a private track from the public highway, the barns benefit from an accessible location being only a short distance from the A12 road, whilst the delightful and ever popular coastal town of Southwold is just four miles to the east.

While the properties are similarly converted and decorated, they have slightly different layouts.

In the Upper Barn, an inner hall leads to a huge open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room. Double French doors look out onto the River Blyth and the surrounding countryside, which is part of an Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

The Upper Barn features four bedrooms, two of which are dounstairs and two upstairs, and all of which feature large windows from which the views of the surrounding areas are breathtaking.

There are two full-sized bathrooms downstairs which are large and modern.

The Lower Barn has a similar open-plan living and dining space, with a modern kitchen and breakfast bar. Both the barns have warm wood features in the stairways and hallways which give the spaces a cosy feel.

This barn is larger than it's neighbour, boasting three bathrooms and four bedrooms, all of which are double-sized.

Outside the barns enjoy generous gardens and grounds that extend to nearly two acres.

Immediately surrounding the property are more formal gardens including patios to both the front and rear that enjoy the sun during the mornings and evenings.
