A Co-op store in a Suffolk town closed its doors due to an early morning break-in.
It has been confirmed that the shop located in Elizabeth Parade in Newmarket had a break-in during the early hours of this morning, September 7.
A spokesperson for Co-op said: "We appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to the police, who are investigating."
The store remained closed while police carry out investigations.
Essential repairs were also being carried out.
The store said it expected to reopen in the afternoon.
