A new bargain shop will soon open in Felixstowe, replacing the former Marks & Spencer store.
The ground-floor commercial unit at 55 Hamilton Road has been leased to Poundstretcher for a five-year term.
The 541 sq m unit is located along the town’s busy retail street, adjacent to Caffè Nero and close to other major retailers, including Peacocks, Santander, Iceland, Shoezone, Coes and W H Smith.
The new store will also be located within a short distance of the popular seafront and close to parking spaces.

Poundstretcher, established in 1981, stocks a wide selection of products at competitive prices, including food, toiletries and household goods, along with an extensive range of seasonal goods.
The chain employs more than 6,000 people across 350 stores nationwide.
Vanessa Penn, managing director of Penn Commercial, which arranged the lease, said: "We are pleased to be welcoming Poundstretcher to Felixstowe, where we are sure that this nationwide discount retailer will provide a popular addition to the town's already thriving High Street."
Poundstretcher will be undertaking an extensive fit-out of the premises, with the aim of opening its doors in the coming months.
