A Suffolk spa has undergone a £750,000 revamp as a part of a long-term renovation to its Woodbridge resort.
Ufford Park Hotel, Golf and Spa in Melton, has gained eight brand new treatment rooms as well as three non-therapist treatment rooms.
Spa manager, Hannah Block, said: "We can now offer our guests a salt flotation tank, which is based off the Dead Sea.
"The salt contains magnesium, which is really good for tired, achy muscles. You can just switch off for an hour and float.
"We also have a light and sound room, which works with the brain waves and the frequency in the brain. You hear the frequency through headphones and feel the vibrations and light on the bed.
"This treatment puts our guests in a meditative state and is the equivalent of a full night’s deep sleep.
"Finally, we’ve got four massage chairs that provide a range of top-to-toe non-contact massages.
"Our other eight treatment rooms are filled with the best therapists."
The revamp also included the spa lounge, where visitors can comfortably fill out their consultation forms while enjoying a complimentary drink on arrival.
The spa also gained a new relaxation room where guests can continue unwinding after their treatments.
The work took about seven months and cost about £750,000.
The revamp is part of a long-term renovation plan initiated by the new owners of Ufford Park Hotel, Golf and Spa.
The next stages of refurbishment will include the revamp of the bar and restaurant, following the renovation of the thermal suite, the swimming pool and changing rooms.
The spa manager added: "We’re getting fantastic feedback from our guests. It’s also really lovely to work in this brand-new environment.
"We’re really proud of the rooms that we work in, and we would like to invite everybody to visit us and try our treatments."
