A Suffolk woman has fulfilled her dream by opening her very own cookies and brownie shop.
Marie Hibble opened her new shop Auntie Ree's in Sudbury on Saturday after months of trading at local markets.
The name of the shop was inspired by her nieces and nephews who always call Mrs Hibble Auntie Ree.
The mayor of Sudbury held a grand opening of the store today.
Jan Osbourne wished Mrs Hibble and her team well for her opening.
She said: "It always rewarding and encouraging when a new business opens up in our beautiful town, but even more so when that business has grown from an acorn into an oak tree, from our market to an actual shop."
Speaking about the opening Mrs Hibble said: "It's all a bit exciting and nervous.
"I have done market stalls and have been doing that for a few months now on a Thursday and the response has been fantastic with a few different farmers' markets all over the place.
"We then thought with winter coming up we thought we would just give it a go.
"We are based in Nayland so it was either Colchester or Sudbury and we thought here is a nice market town.
"It also felt like the natural progression from the market stall in Sudbury and it has just been great."
There are a range of cookies, brownies, milkshakes, ice creams and drinks on offer.
Mrs Hibbe said the unit was a great size for a first shop.
"We looked at one of the pods down Gaol Lane and it just wouldn't have worked," she said.
"Here we can do all the baking in the back so it is a lot easier."
Mrs Hibble said the reaction to the opening has been "fantastic".
