There are currently severe delays of 40 minutes on the A12 due to planned roadworks.
National Highways are currently carrying out roadworks on the northbound carriageway near Marks Tey.
A closure has been put in place at junction 25 with the A120.
Drivers are being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at the roundabout.
National Highways are urging drivers to allow for extra time when travelling.
