A man who was snared by a paedophile hunter group and a lorry driver found concealing criminal property were among the people jailed in Suffolk this week.
Skye Tanswell
Skye Tanswell has been jailed for three years after having online chats about sex with members of a paedophile hunter group posing as schoolgirls.
Tanswell, 34 and of Gippeswyk Road in Ipwich, admitted three offences of attemting to engage in sexual communication with a child and one offence of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
Ipswich Crown Court heard how Tanswell sent naked pictures of himself to members of the Child Online Safety Team posing as two 14-year-old girls and asked them to send him pictures of their breasts.
Cemal Yildirin
Cemal Yildirin, a Turkish lorry driver who arrived in the UK at Felixstowe in March this year, was the subject of a random search by Border Force officers upon his return, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
When the officers searched the mattress on the top bunk in his cab, they found 49 bundles of cash totalling £229,000.
Yildirin, 53, of no fixed address, admitted possessing criminal property.
He was sentenced to two years in jail.
Adam Bone
Adam Bone poured fuel over the kitchen of a house in Brooks Hall Road in Ipswich and tried to set light to it with a lighter while drunk.
The 32-year-old of no fixed address admitted threatening to destroy or damage property on February 12 this year and assault causing actual bodily harm.
He also admitted assaulting two emergency workers and being in breach of a suspended prison sentence.
Bone was sentenced to 21 months in jail at Ipswich Crown Court.
