A woman who was seriously injured following a collision in a supermarket carpark in Colchester has now died.
Police were called to reports of an incident involving a silver Kia Venga and a pedestrian Waitrose in St Andrews Gardens at 2.50pm on Saturday, August 19.
The 80-year-old woman sustained serious injures and was taken to hopsital for treatment.
She has now died, Essex Police confirmed.
The driver of the car, a man in his 80s, is assiting with the investigation.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for anyone who saw or has footage of the incident to contact them and quote incident 871 of August 19.
