Felixstowe is gearing up to host one of its biggest weeks of the year with a six-day festival.

More than 30,000 visitors are expected to descend on the town for the first Love Felixstowe Festival, between September 2 and 7.

The popular Art on the Prom will return, as well as the start and finish of Stage 5 of the Tour of Britain.

An outdoor cinema, chef demos and live bands are among the activities taking place, as well as a children's treasure hunt, steel band and petanque taster sessions at the recently opened beachside activity park.
