A Suffolk pub is hosting a beer festival this bank holiday weekend, and it is an ideal spot for a pint in the sunshine.
The Duke of Marlborough in Somersham is a community-run pub, rescued from delicencing in 2017 by the local community.
Now the pub is set to host its annual beer festival, from Friday to Bank Holiday Monday.
"It really is a fantastic event," said David Thorne, who is the chair of the Duke of Marlborough Committee.
"The summer beer festival is our flagship annual event and the proceeds go a long way to ensuring the success and survival of the pub for the whole year round."
The festival will feature more than 20 real ales, guest lagers and a variety of local ciders. Food will also be served and live music performed in the pub garden. Two street food trucks are also booked on Saturday and Monday.
While the pub normally only opens from Wednesday to Sunday, this week it will also open for the Bank Holiday Monday from 12pm.
