A man has been charged after he was caught in posession of a knife and cannabis.
Officers pursued a vehicle through a rural area after it was seen leaving Newmarket at about 9.25am on Monday, August 21.
The vehicle was eventually stopped on the border between Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, allowing officers to carry out a search of the vehicle.
A 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and driving with no insurance.

Junik Ferizaj, 25, of no fixed abode, was charged with dangerous driving, possession of cannabis, possession of a knife, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He appeared at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, where he was remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, September 19.
