Post Office services are to be withdrawn from a Suffolk town at the end of this week.
The Borehamgate Post Office in Sudbury will be closing on Friday, August 25.
A Post Office spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, the Postmaster for Sudbury has decided to withdraw from offering post office services in Sudbury from this Friday.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure at short notice."
The nearest alternative post offices are at Great Cornard and Great Waldingfield.
The temporary Post Office was opened to allow for urgent works at the branch's previous location.
