A woman has sustained serious injuries after a car crash in a Waitrose car park.
Police officers are carrying out an investigation into the incident, which is said to have left the woman with life-changing injuries.
Essex Police were called to an incident at the Waitrose in St Andrews Gardens on Saturday at about 2.50pm.
They were responding to a report of an incident involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, has sustained serious injuries, including several fractured bones.

Officers have located the vehicle involved - a silver Kia Venga - and a man in his 80s is assisting with the investigation.
The police ask that anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, or any other information about the incident contacts them by quoting the incident reference number 871 of 19 August.
