A man has been arrested after police found nearly 20 stolen vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Police officers in Colchester were alerted to a potential chop shop site in Ipswich Road at around 5.35pm on Tuesday, August 16.
When they arrived they found a total of 18 stolen cars worth a combined total of an estimated £435,000.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
He has been released on bail until October 16 whilst the investigations continue.
