Plans have been submitted to build a new wellness centre, featuring a swimming pool, cafe, restaurant and a relaxation area.
An outline planning application submitted to Babergh District Council shows plans for the centre at Second Meadow Stables in Lavenham near Sudbury.
The centre would have a restaurant, cafe, swimming pool, yoga area, gym and sauna.
The building would create more jobs, with at least 11 being available as the minimum, as well as volunteering opportunities being available.
The proposal also carries opportunities to incorporate sustainable benefits such as swift bricks, electric vehicle charging points, ultrafast broadband and solar energy.
Parking will be created as well, with space for vehicle manoeuvre within the site to avoid a rear-facing entrance to the road.
The application has received 30 public comments, all in support of the plans, with one saying: 'Suffolk needs somewhere to relax, unwind and even mend.'
Another states: 'I've been wanting some form of wellness centre to go to locally, and all local gyms/leisure centres are all too busy so this would be great to have one just next door.'
