A busy road remains closed this morning after a serious two-vehicle crash. 

Emergency services are on the scene after a serious road traffic collision at Euston.

Officers were called just after 7.00pm on Thursday to reports of a serious collision involving two cars.

Police, ambulance crew, an air ambulance and fire service were called to scene.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the road is expected to remain closed throughout the morning

The A1088 is closed in both directions between the A1066 in Thetford and Rushford Road Euston.

Drivers are being told to find an alternative route.

Witnesses to the collision or anyone with relevant dash cam footage is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team quoting CAD 298 of 17 August.
