Students across Suffolk are celebrating after receiving their A Level results, and gaining places to their chosen universities.
Despite the average pass rate in the UK being at its lowest since 2008, there has been success around Suffolk as schools achieve above the 97.2% average.
In Framlingham, at Thomas Mills High School, a 98% pass rate was achieved, with 51% of students achieving grades between A*-B and 75% achieving A*-C.
Philip Hurst, headteacher, said: "We congratulate the students on their amazing achievements.
"They have been a delightful year group to work with and we wish them well with their next steps whether that is university, employment or apprenticeships."
Andrew Cann, head of sixth form, said: "These results are hard fought and well deserved as students have grappled with the demands of their courses despite having part of their education disrupted through the successive periods of lockdown.
"Students have shown great determination and have developed a resilience which will stand them in good stead as they move on with their life adventures."
At Saint Felix School in Southwold, there was success with 82% of all grades being marked at A*-C, and 36% at A*-A.
Mrs Harlock, head of sixth form, said: "I am immensely proud of our exceptional students on their outstanding examination results.
"Over the last few years, these students have faced educational disruption and uncertainty, however, what they have achieved is a testament to their hard work, determination, and dedication."
Woodbridge School had their own success, with almost half (49%) of all grades achieved being at A*/A.

At Thurston Community College, students and staff are also celebrating, as 80% of students gained their first choice university place and 95% of students achieved a pass grade.
Principal Nicki Mattin and vice principal, David Gower, said: "At Thurston Community College, our students have continued to impress us every day with their resilience, dedication to their studies, support they have given each other and the powerful community they have created at our Thurston Sixth Beyton Campus.
"Their hard work and motivation are a credit to them and their strength of character throughout these challenging times."

Farlingaye Sixth Form achieved an overall pass rate of 98%, with 25% at A*/A and 72% being between A*-C.
Notable mentions include Ben Wakeling who received four A*s and will study physics at University of York, and Sarah Bayfield, who received three A*s at A Level and an A* in Extended Project Qualification.
Headteacher Andy Sievewright said: "I am absolutely delighted that so many of our students have risen to the challenges that are always involved in the exams process, and that they have continued to develop themselves into wonderful young adults, despite the additional pressures of the past few years.
"We knew that grades would take a 'hit' this year because of the move to pre-Covid grade boundaries, but this hasn’t stopped students doing really well."
Andy Hunter, headteacher at Haverhill Community Sixth Form, congratulated his students, saying: "We shouldn’t underestimate the resilience and self-belief our students have had to show through these nationally very disrupted years in education.
"They have worked hard through challenging times and achieved well."
At County Upper High School, 59% of students achieved A*-C, with headteacher Sally Kennedy, saying: "We are very proud of the results achieved by our students this year.
"This is a testament to their hard work and the dedication of their teachers together with the support of their families despite the challenges they have faced.
At John Milton Sixth Form, part of Stowupland High School, students were celebrating as they received their results, with one, Harvey Talbot, taking up a highly coveted place at an FA coaching academy at Wembley.
Headteacher David Brewster, said: "We are exceptionally proud of all our students and their achievements.
"It has been a pleasure to hear about their achievements and future plans as they now move onto further education, apprenticeships or the world of work."
Royal Hospital School students secured their best top-grade results since 2011, with 37% achieving grade A*/A and 60.3% achieving A*-B.
Simon Lockyer, headmaster, said: "I am delighted for this year’s leavers who have achieved some tremendous results.
"With my oldest son in Year 13, I have had a more personal insight into the challenges this cohort has faced in the past few years.
"They have shown real tenacity, resilience and grit and not only have they gained some of our strongest results on record, but they have also graduated as outstanding and committed young people, who are true global citizens.
"I hope that alongside their achievements they do feel excited and equipped for what lies ahead."
