A popular Suffolk sunflower farm has announced its final opening days for the summer.

The Rougham Estate, near Bury St Edmunds, is a hit location for families and couples looking for a quintessentially British afternoon in a beautiful sunflower field.

The estate offers a pick-your-own sunflower service, which costs £2 a stem, £8 for five stems and £12 for 10 stems.

Not only can visitors enjoy choosing their own flowers, but can also purchase refreshments from the FOLK About café van, or have their faces decorated by the team at Face It Face Painting.

Now, the estate has announced on social media that the end of the picking season is upon us, with the final day to pick your own sunflowers on Sunday, August 20.

The post said: "There are still plenty of beautiful, fresh sunflowers available, but slowly the time is coming when they are beyond their best.

"If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to come. If you’d like to refresh the ones you got before, then come again."

The sunflower field is open from 9am - 5pm until Sunday.
