A Suffolk supper club has launched a collection of beautiful rooms.
Husk, Thorington, opened its doors at the end of 2022 and has quickly gained a following among both Suffolk locals and foodies from around the UK.
Recently, Husk was named by The Times as one of the best four Suffolk restaurants.
On August 14, owners Joey O'Hare and Katy Taylor launched the online booking system of an exciting new addition to their farmstead in Suffolk: luxury, bespoke bedrooms.
Walnut Tree Farm in Thorington had a past life as a bed and breakfast when the two chefs bought it.
"We have always loved hospitality and running a B&B was always part of the bigger picture," said Miss Taylor.
"We have an old cowbarn which was so derelict that it took us 18 months to renovate."
The cowbarn now houses four luxury suites, all furnished with a super king-sized bed and rainfall showers. They've been renovated sustainably and sympathetically, maintaining as much character as possible.
"Each room has a completely different vibe," said Miss O'Hare.
"Every single piece of furniture is second-hand from a local business or Facebook marketplace and has been reupholstered or upcycled by ourselves or a nearby business.
"The rooms all feature funky and engaging artwork too."
Rooms are bookable from Friday to Sunday. On the night that guests don't attend the supper club, O'Hare and Taylor will put together a pantry dinner that they can help themselves to.
The pair also revealed additional rooms that will be available at the end of September: two converted grain silos.
"The exteriors are preserved with a door hidden around the back," said Miss Taylor.
"Inside there is a beautiful skylight in the roof where the grain would have poured in."
Weekend guests will also have access to the on-site natural pool, which is shared with local wildlife.
"Not our pet duck, though!" laughed Miss O'Hare.
Rooms are available to book via the Husk website.
