On Sunday is the traditional carnival parade. It leaves Blyburgate car park at 1pm then turns left into Gosford Road, then left into Station Road, straight up into the town centre around past QD, then left at the Town Hall into Saltgate and Northgate and finishes at Fen Lane, Beccles Quay.
Then on the quay on the carnival Sunday will be stalls, arena displays, East Coast Truckers and lots of entertainment in the main arena. Same entrance fees as Saturday.
Both days at Beccles Quay will have a licensed bar, food vendors in the new street food area, a large variety of stalls and a Funzone with rides, inflatables and games stalls.
Carnival support plea
Senior event coordinator and manager Annette Tackley said: "Lots of towns have lost their carnival but without the tremendous public support and our great team of organisers ours would have gone too.
"We are one of the lucky ones and I urge people to continue their support again this year.
"Please look out for the collection buckets on the quayside and on the carnival parade, as without people's donations this event will not continue.
"Our carnival parade leaves us at a loss with the huge sums of money for booking acts in the parade along with the insurance and other arrangements.
"So if everyone who watches the parade puts just 20p in a bucket we can ensure our parade continues for many years."
