Plans to build 23 new homes in a Suffolk village have been submitted.
If approved the development would see the construction of the homes in a patch of land east of Blackthorn Way and Campion Way in Leavenheath.
The plans show a mix of homes ranging from one to five-bedroom properties will be built if the applicant is successful.
As part of the plans, eight of the 23 properties will be affordable and social houses.
A new entrance to the development would be made direct from the A134 which goes through the village.
In a letter to the council, the applicant said: "The proposal to create 23 houses, bungalows and maisonettes will make efficient use of land available for development, produce a scheme with a sense of place, deliver new homes to support the existing services and facilities in Leavenheath, and will have no negative environmental impacts."
