Fire crews were attending a large field blaze in a rural Suffolk village.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at about 2.45pm on Thursday after a large field caught alight in Ladywell Road, Westhorpe, near Stowmarket.
About five acres of standing crop and cut straw were ablaze, as well as a bailing machine, over an hour after the fire crews were first called.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue described the field as 'well alight.'
A stop was called almost two hours after the fire service was dispatched.
