A Suffolk couple have made their dreams come true and reopened a Woodbridge café and tea room.

Pulkit and Samantha Katyal will now be in charge of Christine’s Patisserie and Tea Rooms, which was originally opened in 2015.

The café located in the Thoroughfare will continue to be open six days a week, between 9am and 4pm from Monday to Saturday, offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and a selection of hot and cold beverages and cakes.

The new owners have designed a new menu that includes old favourites and new items such as eggs benedict and eggs royale on the breakfast menu and prawn salad open sandwiches and quiche of the day on the lunch menu.

Mr Katyal said: "I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and running my own café alongside Samantha is a dream come true.

"The location and the building's history are something we instantly warmed to. Christine's has a really friendly team and a lovely customer base, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them through our doors.

"There will be some changes that customers will notice, but these changes are designed to make their dining experience even more enjoyable."
