Chester the Malinois cross Lurcher is looking for his forever home in Suffolk.
The three-year-old came into the care of Suffolk Aminal Rescue in December 2021 due to a relationship breakdown in his old home.
He has spent longer in kennels than he has in a home.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Animal Centre said Chester was a very unruly boy when he came into their care with not a lot of training.
He was very mouthy and bouncy, but has since had lots of training and is now much better.
He still has his hyper moments however he is a very sweet cuddly dog and will roll over for fuss.
Chester is looking for an active home and he loves to learn new things and is very playful.
Unfortunately, because he is still a very bouncy boy with a lot of energy a lot of people overlook him.
He walks well on the lead and loves to play with the centre's other lurcher.
He needs a home with someone who wants to do a lot with a dog. Be that walks, training, or agility.
Chester would like a child-free home as he has no idea how big he is.
He could however live with a playful female dog who will tolerate his boisterous playstyle.
He would like a dog of Labrador size and up.
He can be left for a few hours and is used to sleeping and being left in his crate.
