A fried chicken chain is set to be the latest business to open in a Suffolk town.
Slim Chickens will be replacing Carluccio’s in the arc Shopping Centre in Bury St Edmunds.
Famous for its cooked-to-order fresh hand-breaded chicken, the menu includes chicken tenders, breaded wings, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and handspun milkshakes - with the latest addition to their menu of buffalo-loaded fries.
The restaurant will seat 129 people, create 25 jobs and the first 30 customers will get three free chicken tenders.

"We already have locations in major towns and cities across the UK, and are thrilled to add Bury St Edmunds to that list.”
Slim Chickens will be opening on August 24 at 12pm.
