Plans for a Domino's pizza takeaway to open at the site of a former high street bank have been given the go-ahead.
DPSK Limited, the company who operate Domino's pizza chain, applied for permission to change the use of 10-12 High Street in Brandon from a bank to a hot food takeaway.
The site was previously occupied by Barclays, which closed in November 2018.
Proposals included the change of use of the ground floor to a hot food takeaway, as well as the installation of extraction equipment and external alterations.
Developers said the site would generate a "good" level of footfall and provide job opportunities for local residents.
On Wednesday, July 26, West Suffolk Council granted permission for the change of use plans.
Construction work will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The takeaway will be open 11am to 11pm daily to protect residents in neighbouring properties from late night noise disturbance.
