The Barbie movie is here and seems to be all that anyone is talking about. And when we think of Barbie, we think of anything pink, including her dreamhouse.

You may not be Barbie or Ken – or the actors Margot Robbie or Ryan Gosling who portray them – but you can still get your hands on a pink house right here in Suffolk. The county is filled with properties in all different shades of pink, including the famous ‘Suffolk pink’.

Here are four pink properties currently on the market which could turn out to be your ‘dreamhouse’.

This pretty pink property is of original timber frame construction with a pitched and thatched roof, with a modern extension to the rear, and a self-contained annexe.

The cottage includes plenty of living space, with a large drawing/sitting room, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room on the ground floor, as well as an entrance lobby, reception hall and shower room. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

There is further accommodation in a pink, self-contained annexe, which could be rented out, as well as garaging. Outside the property, there is plenty of parking, gardens extending to about one acre and rural views.

White House Farm, which is set in 4.35 acres in the village of Yaxley, near Eye, offers plenty of scope for development.

The main house was constructed in the 17th century, with later additions. A new buyer may want to modernise and reconfigure the property, but there are currently plenty of reception rooms on the ground floor, with seven bedrooms on the first and second floor. The main rooms are well-proportioned and offer views over a lake.
