A sweet shop in a Suffolk town has announced it will closed down due to challenges faced by the cost of living crisis and the Covid pandemic.
Auntie Pam's Sweet Shop will close its premises in Bury St Edmunds' Traverse on Saturday, July 29, having been in the town for nearly 20 years.
The company revealed challenges faced by the Covid pandemic, rising costs and the cost of living crisis have affected the store.
"It is with mixed emotions that we must inform you of the difficult decision we have made to close Auntie Pam's Sweet Shop," a statement on social media said.
"We write this notice with a heavy heart, but also with deep appreciation of your unwavering support and loyalty throughout the years.
