A colourful new afternoon tea menu, which was created by a MasterChef finalist, has launched at a historic Suffolk hotel.
The Crown Hotel in Woodbridge has unveiled a new summer menu with three delightful stages, each offering a different experience.
Head chef Sci Daniels, who was a finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals, has designed the delicious menu.
To begin, customers can take their pick from cucumber sandwiches, house-cured salmon mini bagels, creamed goats’ cheese profiterole and a tasty mini croque monsieur.
Among the mouth-watering mains are strawberry scones with clotted cream and jams, alongside the savoury option of a Tide Mill sausage roll.
Strawberry shortcake biscuits with edible flower jewels and a glass of Pimm's complete the menu.
Afternoon tea at The Crown is priced at £21 per person, and is served between 3pm and 5pm every day.
