A music legend made plenty of drinkers happy after putting money behind the bars of several pubs as part of his visit to Latitude Festival.
Former Housemartins lead singer Paul Heaton was performing at the festival, at Henham Park in east Suffolk, on Saturday afternoon.
As part of his visit to Suffolk, he generously opted to pay for punters' drinks at a number of pubs in the surrounding area.
Pubs which received the donation included The White Hart in Blythburgh, The Plough Inn, Wangford, The Queens Head in Blyford, The Star Inn in Wenhaston and The Horse and Groom in Wrentham.
To those going to see Paul & the band at @LatitudeFest on Saturday, as a thank you, and a small amount of help during the cost of greed crisis, Paul is once again leaving an amount of money behind the bar at a few local pubs, all within a few miles of the festival site... pic.twitter.com/wzduogDer5

"As far as I am aware, we are Adnams and I got an email just saying that he put the money behind the bar and a few other local bars," said Joe Johnson, who runs Blythburgh's The White Hart.

"He definitely made quite a few people happy. We got told it was just for drinks."
Writing on social media, the 61-year-old singer said it was a "small amount of help during the cost of greed crisis".
It is not the first time that Heaton has helped Suffolk pubs.
Last year, as part of his 60th birthday celebrations, he put money behind the bar of The Duke of York pub in Woodbridge Road in Ipswich.
