The new owners of an east Suffolk pub are celebrating after a successful opening night.
The White Horse in Badingham, near Framlingham, which was left closed for months, finally reopened on Thursday.
Moss & Co took over the pub back in April 2022, with the venue previously taking bookings despite not being open.
Operations manager at Moss & Co, Adam Vass, said: "We are so relieved to be open. When the first guests came through yesterday it was such a relief to think we are finally there.
"This has been a long time coming.
"This pub has a Hollywood setting and I have told so many friends that this is a pub that you fall in love with."
The company was due to move into the pub last year but the takeover fell through after complications.
It was originally hoped that the pub would be open in time for the Easter weekend but due to problems "outside of our control", the launch date got pushed back.
The pub had a soft launch on Wednesday evening and officially opened on Thursday.
Mr Vass said the opening has gone well and they have received a number of good reviews from members of the public.
"I don't think I have heard so many positive comments," he said.
"People were coming down and telling us they wanted the pub open. It has all been so positive and everybody has been so lovely."
At the moment the bar and restaurant are open with the accommodation a couple months away from opening.
"We have been concentrating on getting it open," Mr Vas said.
"Food-wise, we do the normal classics in terms of our chicken in a bucket, fish and chips and burgers.
"We also have a seasonal menu and we try to use as many local suppliers as well."
