A Suffolk nursing and residential home for older people and people with dementia has been rated 'Good' in an inspection by a national watchdog.
Mill Lane Nursing and Residential Home in Felixstowe, which accommodates 22 people, was praised for the system that was in place to reduce the risks of abuse and harm, as well as the support provided to residents to give them maximum choice and control of their lives.
Residents received medicines as prescribed, while the service was said to be 'clean and hygienic,' while staff demonstrated a commitment to their wellbeing and safety.

The home has also welcomed a new manager, Suzanne Brindley, who has helped to improve and develop the home's services with the aim to create a 'family environment' where residents feel supported and included.
She said: "Mill Lane is a lovely home, with a peaceful, calm atmosphere and the focus on the residents enjoying themselves.
"The team here makes every effort to get to know each resident really well so that we can be sure they are getting truly person-centred care.”

This week, the EADT reported on the loss of two accommodation providers for older people in the county, which have had to or are about to close.
Silverdale Residential Home, in Buregate Road, Felixstowe closed at the end of May, while Priory Paddocks Nursing Home in Darsham is due to close at the end of this month, although the reasons behind the closures are unclear.
The Mill Lane home is run by care provider Healthcare Homes.
Healthcare Homes' chief executive Gordon Cochrane was 'delighted' with the report.
He said: "We are incredibly proud of the team at Mill Lane for their hard work and dedication.
"This rating from the CQC is a testament to their commitment to delivering exceptional care services.
"We remain committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care."
